Day 1 – Departure
Depart for Ireland, excited for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 – Arrival in Dublin
Arrive in Dublin and visit Bru na Boinne to see the ancient monuments of Newgrange. Then, explore the Hill of Armagh before heading to your accommodations in Armagh for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Armagh to Downpatrick
Attend Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Armagh, then visit Saul Church, where St. Patrick is said to have held his first Mass. Continue to Down Cathedral, St. Patrick’s final resting place, and the St. Patrick Centre. In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Belfast.
Day 4 – Belfast to Derry
After Mass at Clonard Monastery, journey to Derry, pass by Slemish, where St. Patrick worked as a shepherd. Visit the Giant’s Causeway, Free Derry Museum, and Aras Colmcille before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay in Derry.
Day 5 – Derry to Galway
Travel from Derry to Donegal Town, visit Donegal Castle, then head to Knock for Mass at Apparition Chapel. Continue to Kylemore Abbey and enjoy dinner and traditional music in Galway.
Day 6 – Cliffs of Moher to Bunratty Castle
Attend Mass, then take the ferry to the Aran Islands. Explore its lighthouse and O’Brien’s Castle ruins. Visit the Cliffs of Moher and drive through The Burren with its unique rock formations.
Day 7 – Clonmacnoise and Maynooth to Dublin
Visit Clonmacnoise Abbey, founded by St. Ciarán, then continue to Maynooth, home of St. Patrick’s College. Attend the Merry Ploughboy, Stay in Dublin for an overnight stay.
Day 8 – Glendalough and Dublin
Explore Glendalough, a monastic site founded by St. Kevin and attend Mass at its shrine. In the afternoon, tour Dublin’s Christchurch Cathedral and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, before returning to your hotel.
