This immersive tour offers a powerful exploration of Irish identity through the lenses of culture, heritage, language, and reconciliation. Beginning in Dublin and traveling through Armagh, Belfast, and Derry/Londonderry, participants will engage with Ireland’s complex history and dynamic present through experiential learning and community engagement.
From traditional music to interfaith dialogue and political storytelling, each day uncovers a new layer of Irish society. Participants will gain insight into the lasting impact of colonization, migration, religious division, and the Troubles—while also experiencing how creativity, culture, and community continue to shape modern Ireland.

Day 1 - Welcome to Ireland
Arrive in Dublin and transfer to your hotel for check-in and time to freshen up.
In the Afternoon, enjoy a lively Irish music and dance show, including a fun introductory dance lesson to get everyone involved.
Gather for a welcome dinner at a traditional Irish restaurant.

Day 2 - Discovering Dublin’s History & Heritage
Begin the day with a guided walking tour of Dublin, exploring key landmarks including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar, O’Connell Street, and the General Post Office (GPO), with insights into Ireland’s political and cultural history.
Visit EPIC: The Irish Emigration Museum, an interactive experience telling the powerful stories of Irish emigrants through digital exhibits. Step aboard the Jeanie Johnston, a replica Famine-era ship, to learn about the emigrant journey.
Evening at leisure.

Day 3 - Language, Culture & Guinness
Visit Gael Linn, an organization dedicated to promoting the Irish language since 1953. Participate in a Gaelic language workshop, exploring the role of language in shaping Irish identity.
Enjoy a traditional carvery lunch at Tolka House.
In the afternoon, Experience Gaelic Games learn the basics of traditional Irish sports such as Gaelic football and hurling while also discovering more about Ireland’s sporting culture and history.

Day 4 - Armagh & Onward to Belfast
Travel north toward Armagh, stopping at Monasterboice to view its remarkable Celtic High Crosses and round tower.
In Armagh, explore St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral and the Church of Ireland Cathedral, followed by a Q&A session with a local leader and students discussing St. Patrick’s legacy and modern identity.
Lunch at An Chroí (Anoach Mhacha).
Experience the Armagh Rhymers, featuring traditional music, storytelling, drama, and a craft workshop, along with a leadership discussion.
Continue to Belfast for dinner.

Day 5 - Understanding Belfast’s Divided Past
Begin with a West Belfast walking tour, visiting key historical sites including political murals, Milltown Cemetery, and the Eileen Hickey Irish Republican History Museum.
Visit The Falls Exhibition for further context.
Lunch at St. Comgall’s Café.
In the afternoon, explore the Shankill Road, engaging with a Loyalist speaker at ACT Initiative for an exhibition and open discussion on perspectives from the Protestant/Unionist community.
Dinner in Belfast.

Day 6 - Derry/Londonderry & the Peace Process
Travel by bus to Derry/Londonderry
Optional: Visit Glenshane Farm for a local shepherd experience.
Explore the historic city, including the Guildhall, the 17th-century Derry Walls, The Fountain neighborhood, and political murals.
Lunch in the city centre.
Visit the Peace Makers Museum for a discussion on the Northern Ireland Peace Process, key figures involved, and its lasting political and cultural impact.
Free time for shopping at the Craft Village before returning to Belfast for dinner.

Day 7 - Titanic Belfast
Visit the award-winning Titanic Belfast Museum, an immersive experience detailing the ship’s construction, launch, and legacy.
Tour the nearby Titanic Distillery, located in the historic Thompson Dock and Pumphouse.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel.
